Register for Classes

International Business Registration and Immigration Hold

All international students will continue to be required to physically attend international business registration prior to registering for classes. This is a separate registration process for international students only. Unitl business registration is completed, all international students will be blocked from registering for classes. During International Student Orientation, International Services (IS) will review each student's immigration documents, confirm to SEVIS that the student has arrived on campus, and then release the restriction on the student's registration.
Your first semester classes will be scheduled after the Academic Advising Office has received your ACT or SAT test scores, and you have paid the three mandatory fees (admissions, NSO and, if you are living on campus, housing deposit fees).
After receiving test scores, the Academic Advising Office will post on your GDOC account website a checklist survey of classes for you to fill out on-line. The survey will be used to custom tailor and tentatively set your incoming semester class schedule. It will be ready for viewing on your Bison account sometime during the summer after August 1.
During NSO, you will meet with your academic advisor to discuss your possible field of study at Gallaudet, draft an academic plan, and review your course schedule.
Those enrolling the spring semester will register for classes upon arrival during January's NSO instead of on-line.
