I'm burnt out after final exams. I did better than I thought I would, but not as well as I hoped I would. Does that make any sense? If not, it's okay because I'm in a nonsensical mood, being as it's summer and I'm finally lying on the couch with my cats sleeping on the floor near me and narrow shafts of light slanting their way through the curtains.
Basically, I went to California for the long weekend after school finished, which was Mother's Day weekend. It was nice to be able to celebrate with my mom, and we all went out to a brunch in Napa Valley with my aunt and grandmother, as well as my sister and my dad.

This is one of my favorite pictures of my mom and dad ever. They've been together for over thirty years. :)

Dad cracks some jokes (as usual).
Expect an entry about Gallaudet's graduation soon. And another about a road trip to Texas (impromptu).
