Graduation and The Melting Pot

I flew back to DC just in time to see my roommate, Laurie, graduate from Gallaudet. It was more than just a little hectic as her parents were in town from Oklahoma City, and her brother Chas somehow escaped Waco, TX to be there. Graduation was nice. I had to work, so only got a few pictures before, but the really good pictures were taken at the Melting Pot right after at dinner. I photo-shopped them, and here they are for your viewing pleasure.

The graduation lineup.

Laurie with Svenna, a friend from California who also graduated.

"I love you, Mom and Dad!"

On the left sits Chas, Laurie's brother, followed by Beau, who is an old friend of the family. Then comes Laurie, followed by good old me. Susan, Laurie's mom, and her dad, Tom, are on the far right.

Chas and Beau pose Goodfellas style with the raw meat ready for fonduing.

Laurie and Beau discuss the vast menu of wines.

Preparing a decadent bite.

Susan, Laurie's mom, devours a chocolate covered marshamallow.

Laurie and I.

Flaming fondue.
