Silence and Respect

A series of images taken at the Arlington Cemetery. Right before Memorial Day, and right after graduation, I went with my roommate and her parents. It was a powerful series of images, and I took pictures so I would remember how I felt, seeing all those that have died to make our country a better place. The graves were eerie and beautiful. It was a little creepy to be in a place where so many lay under the earth, but at the same time, it was romantic and mysterious. The day was warm and muggy, and heat radiated from the graves. Check out my images, most of which I edited with Photoshop (a hobby of mine, among too many others, ha!)
