Hello everybody, I'm glad to be back writing for the gBlog again after a year-long hiatus. A lot has happened in a year. I've moved out of the dorms and into an apartment in the Eastern Market area of D.C. Its a great neighborhood, people are very friendly and warm here. The area is very nice and safe. Great restaurants, a park, grocery store and the National Mall all within walking distance.
My Apartment (Basement)

My dog, Dempsey, is with me and the area is very dog-friendly. At 6:30 p.m. every day, dog owners from around the neighborhood congregate at Lincoln Park and let their dogs play with each other. Usually at thet time there are between twenty and thirty dogs of all different sizes and breeds playing together. So far, Dempsey has learned a lot over the summer, learned more signs and definitely has matured.

This Fall I am taking a class at GWU (George Washingon University) in the Foggy Bottom section of D.C. which is right down the street from Georgetown. I'll talk more about that in a later posting.
Until next time,
-Jon
