mr. santa goes to washington...
So, I ranted and raved in my last entry about American holiday commercialism. Now let's do a show-and-tell thing about Christmas in Washington!! I was recently out and about DC a couple of weeks ago, and took these pictures...
Charity, our fellow gBlogger, standing in front of the Norwegian Christmas tree at Union Station.
Holiday decorations being put up in downtown Washington (near the National Theatre).
The garland and ornaments!
Holly at some florist downtown, where all the lights are.
Ok, so this isn't related to Christmas, but it's cool. Some dude pickin' some riffs in front of an AAA office.
Mini-Christmas trees on the sidewalk in front of the Hotel Washington.
A huge wreath at the Hotel Willard, one of the most famous hotels in DC.
Some left-over pumpkins and squash from Thanksgiving. Tasty, si?
Self-explanatory.
Another irrevelant picture I thought was cool.
A Christmas wreath at Union Station.
