college hi-jinks and social derring-do

I’ve now passed the first two weeks of my second semester at Gallaudet. I really, truly am glad to be back here. One month of holidays was far too long. I was keen to return to my college hi-jinks.

On our first Saturday night back at Gallaudet, my friends and I were so excited! But… we had nothing to do. So I employed Megan and Colleen for the awesome task of bringing an old suitcase, and a couple of rolls of bubble-wrap to the dumpster. On the way there, I decided that it’d be funny to unroll the bubble-wrap and wrap it around… myself, creating a toga of sorts. But Megan and Colleen decided to take advantage of my bubble-wrapped stature and attacked me with a roll of duct tape. This was in spite of my pleas that I needed my hands to sign, to which Megan audistically scoffed and rolled her eyes, “Deaf people and their hands!”
