Your first semester classes will be scheduled after the Academic Advising Office has received your ACT or SAT and COMPASS Test scores, and you have paid the three mandatory fees (admissions, NSO and, if you are living on campus, housing deposit fees). It is also important that you send all medical forms to the Student Health Services. Without receipt of the above fees and the medical forms, the Academic Advising Office cannot register you for your classes. After receiving test scores, the Academic Advising Office will post on your GDOC account (my.gallaudet.edu) a checklist survey of classes for you to fill out on-line. The survey will be used to custom tailor and tentatively set your incoming semester class schedule. It will be ready for viewing on your Bison account sometime during the summer after August 1. Those enrolling the spring semester will register for classes upon arrival during January's NSO instead of on-line. During NSO, you will meet with your academic advisor to discuss your possible field of study at Gallaudet, draft an academic plan, and review your course schedule.
