Congratulations! Your family member is about to embark on a journey to receive a college education. You, as family members, can help make the college experience an enriching and memorable one. The Family Orientation Program is designed with this in mind.

We offer two Family Orientation programs, one in July during the New Signers Program (NSP) and the Bridge Program and one in August during New Student Orientation (NSO). During orientation, family members learn about campus departments and services. Some featured departments include the Departments of Public Safety, Campus Life, Academic Advising, and Student Financial Services. Family members arriving during the New Signers Program receive additional information on how students learn ASL. The most popular workshop for both Family Orientation programs is the student panel with current students sharing their experiences and perceptions on college life.

Program Cost/Registration
There is a $50 registration fee per family member for the July Family Orientation (NSP/Bridge Program) and $50 fee per family member for the August Family Orientation (NSO). The fees include program costs and meals (three meals for the July Orientation and six meals for the August Orientation). Registration forms will be mailed out or families may opt to download the registration form here.
